The Turbaned One is a traveler recognized among the desert people as a prophet of Lyfdite. He wanders through their villages from time to time, collecting donations, saying wise things, and speaking of miracles he has performed in other areas of Peloria. It is not known where The Turbaned One lives, but the desert people assume it is somewhere close to their main village.
He has made periodic appearances among the meadow people as well as the goblins, and is spotted in the forest once every few years.
As a follower of Lyfdite, he is extremely knowledgeable and acts as a living encyclopedia for the desert people. When he makes his visits, he relates the new things he has learned, and the desert people take careful notes. He is known for storing notes and scrolls in his turban.
It is believed that The Turbaned One has a hidden reserve of food stored somewhere in Peloria, as he has never appeared weak or hungry to his followers at any time, despite never asking for food and never dining with his followers.
The Turbaned One has an affinity for goblins and, like them, hates all forms of magic.
